Seminary Handbook

The Seminary of Christ the King (SCK) forms men for the diocesan priesthood through a holistic program rooted in the Benedictine tradition of ora et labora — prayer and work. This handbook is the seminary’s comprehensive guide for seminarians, faculty, and stakeholders, laying out the policies, practices, and expectations that shape life and formation at SCK.

It walks through the four stages of formation — Propaedeutic, Discipleship, Configuration, and Vocational Synthesis — each designed to nurture growth in the four dimensions of priestly formation: human, spiritual, intellectual, and pastoral. Throughout, the handbook aligns with the Ratio Fundamentalis Institutionis Sacerdotalis (2016) and the Canadian Program for Priestly Formation (2022).
